If the warranty doesn’t apply, you’ll be happy to know that our service charges are very modest. Hoses, handpieces and cords are covered with a 1-year warranty. This warranty applies to items purchased for use in the United States and Canada only. Most services are done at no charge for parts and labor because of the 3-year warranty that we offer on nearly all of our devices. Such returned units which are found by Parkell to perform properly with Parkell® brand inserts might result in inspection costs and return-shipping costs for the customer. Importantly, however, before sending a Parkell® scaler other than the TurboSensor+ (D660) back to Parkell based on a perceived need for service due to performance issues with non-Parkell® inserts, it is strongly recommended that you review Parkell’s warranty policy. Once customer approval is received, nearly all electronic devices sent to us for service are serviced and returned in a timely manner. If your Parkell device needs servicing, we will strive to have it serviced and on its way back to you as quickly as possible. If we do not have a replacement or updated product, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience. If you have a unit that is in need of service and it is listed below, please call Parkell for information on updated products similar to the one(s) we no longer service. We are providing a list of Parkell products that we are no longer servicing due to the age of the units, lack of replacement parts and discontinuation of the products. If Parkell is unsuccessful in reaching you and/or in obtaining your authorization for needed service work within 60 days of receipt by Parkell of your returned Parkell equipment, your equipment will be shipped back to you C.O.D in non-serviced condition.An estimate will be prepared for your approval prior to work starting. All equipment services include a 90 day warranty. Upon evaluation, if any further work is required tech fee of $100.00 per hour, billed in 15 minute increments, will be charged, plus any parts required.
